Problem: A recipe makes 6 servings with 9 cups of broth. How many cups for 10 servings?
- Find the unit rate: 9 ÷ 6 = 1.5 cups per serving.
- Multiply by 10 servings: 1.5 × 10 = 15 cups.
- Check the units: cups/serving × servings = cups.
Think about it: Which quantity or operation tells you that the answer is reasonable? Explain in one sentence.
